Install the Linksys Extender app

Before you may connect your household devices to the Linksys extender network, you must set it correctly. You can do this by pressing the WPS button on this device, which offers an easy WPS setup feature that can be finished in less time and effort. However, you can download the Linksys WiFi app from the app store to finish the Linksys extender setup. The first way is less complicated, but it does not require the usage of an app or online browser. The second one allows you to operate the network, but it is a little more involved. 

The second step is to install the Linksys WiFi app on the device from the app store. Click the terms and conditions to open the app at a later time after it has completed installing on your device. Next, enter your username and password in the corresponding areas to log in using the extender's default credentials. You will see the app setup site as soon as you click the login button. After choosing the host device network from the list of available wireless networks, click the expand button. The screen will soon show the message "Extended Successfully" as the operation is complete.
